Please read these Terms of Use carefully before using UbiZ. By accessing or using the UbiZ mobile application, the website located at https://www.ubiz.mobi, or related services (collectively, the "Services"), you agree to these Terms of Use.
UbiZ is a service operated by Global Digital Cooperative (GDC). If you do not agree to these Terms of Use, do not use the Services.
1. Relationship with other policies
These Terms of Use incorporate the UbiZ Privacy Policy, available at https://www.ubiz.mobi/PrivacyPolicy.php. Some features may also be subject to additional terms, rules or instructions shown inside the Services.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old or have reached the age of legal majority in your jurisdiction to use the Services. If you use the Services on behalf of a company, organization or business, you represent that you are authorized to bind that entity to these Terms.
3. Accounts and credentials
You are responsible for maintaining accurate account information and for protecting your login credentials. You are responsible for all activity under your account. You must notify UbiZ if you suspect unauthorized access or a security incident involving your account.
You may not create an account using false information, impersonate another person or entity, use another user's account without permission, or create accounts for abusive, fraudulent or unlawful purposes.
4. Description of the Services
UbiZ provides tools for discovering businesses, promotions, events, MarketCoop products, notifications, QR-based actions, business profiles, loyalty and marketing features, linked devices and YTC wallet-related functionality. Available features may vary by country, device, account type, business status, language, app version and backend availability.
We may modify, suspend, replace or discontinue any part of the Services at any time, subject to applicable law.
5. User content and business listings
You are responsible for the content you submit or publish through the Services, including business names, descriptions, categories, addresses, images, promotions, events, contact information, support messages and other materials ("User Content").
You represent that you have the necessary rights and permissions to submit User Content and that your User Content does not violate the law, third-party rights, privacy rights, intellectual property rights or these Terms.
By submitting User Content, you grant UbiZ a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, adapt, display, publish, distribute and use that content as necessary to operate, promote, improve and provide the Services.
Public business listings, public promotions, public events and similar public content may be visible to users of the GDC ecosystem and search engines.
6. Prohibited conduct
You agree not to use the Services to:
- violate any applicable law, regulation or third-party right;
- publish false, misleading, fraudulent, defamatory, obscene, abusive, discriminatory, violent or unlawful content;
- upload content that infringes intellectual property, privacy, publicity or contractual rights;
- send spam, unauthorized advertising, pyramid schemes or deceptive promotions;
- attempt to access accounts, systems, data or networks without authorization;
- interfere with, disrupt, overload, reverse engineer or attack the Services;
- upload malware, viruses, harmful code or content designed to compromise devices or systems;
- use the Services for money laundering, fraud, unlawful financial activity or unauthorized transfers;
- collect information from other users without authorization;
- impersonate UbiZ, Global Digital Cooperative (GDC), another user, a business or any third party.
7. Events, reminders and attendance
The Services may allow users to view events, confirm attendance, cancel attendance and receive notifications or local reminders. Event information may be provided by UbiZ, businesses, organizers or third parties. You are responsible for checking the final date, time, location, capacity, cancellation status and participation conditions of each event.
Local reminders are provided as a convenience and may fail or be delayed due to device settings, notification permissions, battery restrictions, operating system behavior, time zone changes, app uninstallation or other technical reasons.
8. Location, maps and QR features
Location-based results, maps, QR scanning and proximity features are provided for convenience. Accuracy may vary depending on device sensors, network conditions, permissions, map providers, business data and user input. You should independently verify addresses, routes, business availability and event locations before relying on them.
9. YTC wallet and transfer features
YTC wallet and transfer-related features are provided only for supported users and supported use cases within the UbiZ ecosystem. You are responsible for reviewing recipient information, QR codes, transfer previews and confirmation screens before authorizing an action.
UbiZ may require device verification, linked-device controls, session validation or additional security checks. UbiZ may block, delay or reject actions to protect users, comply with applicable rules or prevent fraud.
Unless expressly stated in a separate written agreement, the Services do not provide investment, financial, tax, legal or accounting advice.
10. Notifications
The Services may send push notifications, account notices, security notices, promotion notices, event notices, YTC-related notices and local reminders when enabled. You can manage notification permissions through your device settings and available in-app settings.
11. GDC ecosystem and external links
The Services are designed to operate within the Global Digital Cooperative (GDC) ecosystem and with GDC products and services. The Services may include links that open external websites or apps, such as app stores, maps, social networks or external pages. When you leave UbiZ, those external services are governed by their own terms and policies.
12. Intellectual property
The Services, including software, design, text, graphics, logos, icons, trademarks, service marks, databases and other materials, are owned by UbiZ, Global Digital Cooperative (GDC) or their licensors and are protected by applicable laws. Except as expressly allowed by these Terms, you may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, rent, sublicense, reverse engineer or exploit the Services.
13. Suspension and termination
We may suspend, restrict or terminate your access to all or part of the Services if we believe that you violated these Terms, created risk or legal exposure, engaged in fraud or abuse, compromised security, infringed rights, or used the Services in a way that may harm UbiZ, users, businesses or third parties.
You may stop using the Services at any time. You may request account deletion through the in-app account deletion option or at https://www.ubiz.mobi/deleteAccount.php.
14. Disclaimers
The Services are provided "as is" and "as available". To the maximum extent permitted by law, UbiZ disclaims all warranties, whether express, implied or statutory, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, non-infringement, availability, accuracy, security and uninterrupted operation.
We do not guarantee that business listings, promotions, events, products, locations, wallet information, notifications, maps, QR codes or user content will be accurate, complete, current, secure, uninterrupted or error-free.
15. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, UbiZ, Global Digital Cooperative (GDC), affiliates, directors, employees, contractors, representatives and ecosystem participants will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary or punitive damages, lost profits, lost data, business interruption, loss of goodwill or other losses arising from or related to your use of the Services.
Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations of liability, so some limitations may not apply to you.
16. Indemnification
You agree to defend, indemnify and hold harmless UbiZ, Global Digital Cooperative (GDC), affiliates, directors, employees, contractors, representatives and ecosystem participants from claims, losses, damages, liabilities, costs and expenses arising from your use of the Services, your User Content, your violation of these Terms, your violation of law, or your infringement of third-party rights.
17. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make changes, we will update the "Last updated" date on this page. Your continued use of the Services after changes become effective means that you accept the updated Terms.
